What We Do

Since 1982, Pregnancy Resource Center of Charlotte has offered compassion, information, and support to women and families dealing with unintended pregnancies. Our main office is centrally located near Presbyterian Hospital.

Free & Confidential Services

  • Pregnancy testing

  • Information on pregnancy-related issues, fetal development, abortion procedures, adoption, and parenting preparation

  • Referrals to community resources

  • Infant supplies and layettes donated by the community

  • Medical clinic offering pregnancy confirmation exams and ultrasound


On-Going Support & Mentoring Programs

  • HOPE (Help Offered in a Pregnancy Experience)Women learn about healthy pregnancies, prepare for birth, build self-esteem, learn budgeting, receive information on community services, and share with caring friends.

  • PATH (Post Abortion Transition to Healing)
    Biblically based support group for women who want healing from the pain of abortion.

  • A Father’s Place
    Expectant fathers learn about the importance of their role from volunteers with fathering experience.

  • Hispanic Services
    Women in Charlotte’s Hispanic community receive information, emotional support, and practical assistance in a way that is sensitive to language and cultural differences.
